A nice comment does help us out a lot. Help people find the podcast, which is also a really good thing. I am Scott Jansden and not joined as always tonight. We got a special guest tonight. We got Toby. You know him as bat flip crazy in the fancy baseball world. One of the better guys in the baseball industry, one of the better players in the baseball industry, and someone who I love having on whenever he has a chance to jump on, Jeff Erickson is out of town this weekend, so I figured we would try Toby. He said, yes, we were happy for that. Toby, welcome. Good to see you. Yeah, thanks so much for having me, Scott. Always a pleasure to join you here and do a poor job of substituting in for Jeff. So I'll do what I can. You also wear the A's hat, so I appreciate that, even though I don't know what we're doing with that team. It's funny, I was in Vegas to begin for football, and my wife comes for football. We stay a night, just do the draft quick and have dinner and go home. And there's a couple of guys there who are from Vegas and big A's fans that like spent 15 minutes trying to convince her that she needs to stay stay on board and root for them. They go to Vegas. It was a, it was a fun conversation to be on the side of and listen to. But yeah, so I appreciate, appreciate the A's content. We got another month of Oakland A's and then it's kind of bye-bye. Yeah, well, it's interesting because I live, you know, about two and a half hours outside of the Bay Area and I'm closer to Sacramento. So we're like an hour and 15 minutes from Sacramento. So it'll be interesting to have the team there. I'm sure they'll stick with the same gear so they don't have to spend any money on like updating anything and no doubt. You know, keep low right they will do their best and they'll they'll be like well we're just leading into the history of the franchise but you're right it's just about keeping the uh making sure they can use the same gears this year but uh so uh let's get just show me to fantasy baseball i know a lot of people watching football today but uh you know the baseball season got three left, and these are important times for teams. If you're in fantasy baseball, I have won a couple of leagues in these last few weeks. As everybody knows, from listening to this, I've definitely lost some leagues in the last few weeks. I have had some hiccups in the last few weeks. It's always a tough time because it seems like, you know, stats should be locked in and you want not moving that much, but man, there's still movement in these leagues. What's your strategy for this fantasy weeks? If you're in contention, are you just attacking categories? Are you, like, trying to get guys who are just playing? I mean, there's so many, we don't have as many callups that we used to have, but there's still, you know, still some young guys are playing and playing there's a lot of pitchers that are going three and four innings or some openers and stuff what's what's kind of your strategy for it sounds like what are you like

2:36.4

what are you focusing on as you do your moves and stuff? Yeah, I mean, I'm really focused pretty heavily on the details, you know, like really trying to get a, like you mentioned, right? You want to get players who are playing. It's hard enough enough to find guys particularly in in larger leagues like 15 team leagues where guys are playing every single day

3:12.4

yeah you're trying to to notice those guys who are maybe coming after the opener or you know who are

3:17.9

showing some good skills um but what i like to do i have a little like exercise when i'm doing fab

3:23.3

where i write down my team for the week.

3:25.4

You know, what does it look like Monday through Thursday, Friday to Sunday on NFBC?

3:29.5

And then what I try to do is I have like a how.

3:34.8

And so I'm just kind of trying to remember for each league, you know, where can I gain and where can I lose?

3:40.6

And I like to think positively, like where can I gain and where can I lose? And I like to think

3:41.3

positively, like, where can I gain versus like, I don't want to lose ground in these categories.

3:46.7

So you have to keep an eye on a little bit of both in those last few weeks, but really focusing on
