Panic attacks in particular are intense because they can sometimes feel like you might be having a heart attack.

The lightheadedness and tightness in your chest is a way that your body is trying to handle and deal with your panic.

First, pay attention to your body right now.

You might be sitting, lying down, standing, moving around.

Whatever your body is doing, just notice it for a moment. And if you can, try to make it more comfortable, make some

allow your body to become slightly more physically comfortable. Even if you still feel some physical discomfort inside, you're safe.
