and this week I've been doing a series on the most important lessons that I've learned from

the creative process.

learn if you ever work in a program like Photoshop or Procreate or Adobe Fresco is how to work

with layers. Layers provide you with the opportunity to make a background,

say a pink background. And then you can sketch a white butterfly onto another layer. And you can

continue to build these layers to create your piece. Now I am an avid user of layers.

I have some pieces that have 50, 60, 70 layers.

I love to just play with all of the different ways that colors and

different textures can be implemented through all of these different layers.
