Summary

Grab your peanuts & cracker jacks because we’re reading listener stories all about sports superstitions and paranormal encounters. We might not know that much about sports, but we do know a thing or two about spirits. When you combine high stakes games, roaring crowds, and deeply rooted rituals, it’s no surprise a few spirits make an appearance. Stories include: Baseball players from a child’s wall mural appear to come out at night to watch him sleep. A late night stadium-trespassing adventure is cut short when the group is suddenly chased by a massive flying creature believed to be the legendary La Lechuza. An EVP captured at a youth baseball game, in which a mysterious voice whispers a clue that helps a grieving family complete a loved one’s final wish. A monarch butterfly and a mysteriously recovered Patriots hat that felt like signs from a father still cheering on his family from the other side.
