Many of us know God's presence is always available to us, but rarely do we take a second to

become aware of how near he truly is. Today, we'll explore what it means to encounter God

through receiving his presence.

This simple concept has radically changed my life, and it is my prayer it changes yours too.

May we learn to practice God's presence on a regular basis and see his goodness flood our lives.

Welcome to the first 15 podcast. Our scripture for today comes from Psalm 139 verse 7.

Scripture says, where shall I go from your spirit?

Or where shall I flee from your presence?

God's presence has been made fully available to us by the sacrifice of Jesus,

our pure and spotless lamb.

When we become Christians, we are made totally new.

2 Corinthians 517 tells us,

therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.

The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come.

We are now able to fellowship with the presence of God in a closer and more intimate way than any people of God before the coming of Christ.

We can now have God Himself dwelling within us, his very spirit, fellowshiping with ours.

Ephesians 518 says,

and do not get drunk with wine,

for that is debauchery,

but be filled with the spirit.

To be filled with the spirit is not a suggestion.
