God bless our military. Outrage addiction just makes us all stupider and it prevents us from being able to understand key distinctions,

prevents us from being able to properly analyze and interpret very simple concepts that are in front of us

That's why I think it's so sad that patriarchy has become a bad word

God is our father no one understands the importance of fathers better than Christians. We who have God as our father.

At least in American evangelicalism, there is this idea that the Holy Spirit works only through spontaneity.

You've to be making it up on the spot, or else it's not spiritual.

The Holy Spirit apparently only works through improv.

Farmers in South Dakota listen to issues, etc. dot-on, while combining our corn and feeding the world.

When someone decides that they're going to devote portion of their life, perhaps even

their entire career to the defense of their country, to life in the military, to the possibility of being deployed,

the possibility of going to war, even of giving one's life.

I think the biggest adjustment they think about is the

one that is going from mom and dad's house or regular civilian life into the

military into that way of life. What about the adjustment at the other end?

When one goes from life in the military, life as a soldier or a sailor or a marine or an airman back to civilian life.
