Brought in two days ago with severe dehydration, stomach cramps and vomiting,

suspected gastroenteritis.

Currently on a course of sipprofloxacin, it's a good, broad spectrum antibiotic.

Whatever Mr Carter's got, this should sort it out.

Except, it isn't. Mr Carter's gaunt and his skin is turning yellow.

His white blood cell in platelet count is steadily shrinking.

He's agitated and unsettled. And he's still throwing up.

Dr Virgist studies the notes again.
