Perhaps a grown-up promised to read an extra bedtime story if you finished your dinner.

When somebody makes a promise, you assume they will follow through, right?

And do what they said they would do?

Well in today's story, a man makes a big promise, and he's in for some big trouble when he

doesn't follow through.
