This week on Mindful Monday we are talking about being thankful. Sometimes we want things and when we get them we see that someone else has one that is better and more beautiful. Being thankful for what we have and seeing that it is just right for us is part of the story we are looking at. Before we get started, let's find a comfortable place to sit.

Somewhere free from distractions, if you are about to go to sleep, you can sit by your bed.

Try sitting cross-legged, or with your legs straight or dangling off a chair.

When you are ready, let's start with a short, deep breathing practice.

Start by taking a great big belly breath in through your nose for a count of six.
