0:33.2	Jerome was born around the year 342 in part of the Roman Empire that is now Croatia or Slovenia.
0:40.0	We don't know much about his family, but historians guess he came from a well-to-do Christian family.
0:45.6	Even though he was always aware of Christianity, St. Jerome wasn't baptized until he was 20 years old.
0:51.4	He was highly educated, and is best known for translating the Bible from the original Hebrew

0:57.8	St. Jerome lived as a hermit, a monk, and as a spiritual director.
