What is up y'all? Jude Gold here. Been running around. I hope you've been running around playing guitar too or doing whatever you like to do, whether it's touring or writing or recording, tracking, or all three. I know I like all three and I've been busy doing that stuff but I wanted to dive

into the archive and again I'm going to do this a little more often because there's so many deep

guitar hangs in there you can hear all of them on Apple Podcasts but of course I'm bringing you

conveniently right here throwing a great one into your feed. This was done in

2018 one month after the cars were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Maybe it was just a

week later. I can't remember. And of course we're talking about their lead guitar player,

Elliot Easton. And he's just a great guy,

great hang and a friend to all guitar players. If you see him and you know, you've met him before,

he's always good to chat and say hello and give you a what's up, talk some guitar.

And last time I saw him was on one of those cruise ships with all the bands.

He was playing in the immediate family, filling in for Wadiwachtel, who was on the road

as he often is with Stevie Nix at the time.

And yeah, I've been just running around and how often do you guys go out and record a full band in the studio?

We went for one day to the famous plant in Sausalito.

Well, now it's called 2,200 studios. Check it out.

2,200 studios are fully functioning, great studio, famous for Fleetwood Mac rumors and other great albums.

But yeah, it was a riot, you know.

There's so much recording done at home these days.

It's been a while that since I got there, you know, you load in at 10 in the morning,

set it up all the baffles, all the headphone mixes.
