I'm so glad to be with you tonight. I've said it before. Wednesdays really are my favorite.

I love the weekends, but I love, love, love Wednesdays. I just want to thank Pastor Skip.

He's in Italy right now with Franklin Graham. I just want to thank him for the opportunity just to share.

And it's such a blessing just to have

just grown up at this church. If you know a little bit about my story, I've grown up here,

growing up under Bible teaching like this. Like, who's thankful for our senior pastor? Amen?

Just prioritizing, expositional, expository Bible teaching is so important, so needed in this world.

I'm just so grateful for being raised in this world. I'm just so grateful for being

raised in this church. I'm grateful just to be raised and get exposed to teaching like that.

And on Pastor's behalf, I actually want to welcome. We have a couple here who's visiting.

Where's Dan and Kate? Where are you guys at? Can we just give a warm welcome to Dan and Kate?

They are from New Jersey. They've been very much ministered to by this church, by Pastor Skips teaching. And I guess you guys were here. You were visiting family in Denver. Drove all the way down

here just to be with us. So come on. Let's just make some noise for them again. That's big. That's big. Well, as Matt said, we are 48, 48 short hours away from our man-up conference.

This is the first ever man-up conference. I'm excited, and I'm hoping that you guys are too.

Who's excited for the man-up conference? It was a little bit of a lukewarm noise earlier. I'm excited. It's going to be a good time. And in light of that, I want to share a talk that I gave about a year, year and a half ago, at one of our Man Up rallies, because I think it applies to where we're at right now. And yes, I'll be honest. I'm just going to preface this.

I'm going to speak directly to men in this message because I really think this text that we're

about to study is a call to action for men to step up. But I believe this, that men and women alike,

that we have something that we can glean from this message. I think that all of us have a need to step into discipleship, and this is what this text

is going to call us, too. So, if you have your Bibles, which, duh, it's a Wednesday night,

you brought it. Turn with me to 2 Timothy. Second Timothy about back half of the New Testament, what most scholars

would consider to be Paul's kind of last will in Testament.
