She is committed to community development.

She studied political science and sociology from the the University of Toronto and she's worked

across fields from from project management to risk to governance and program

development and beyond but right now she's working,

she's running really, the Gene Augustine Center

for Young Women's Empowerment

in an effort to support young women in the region

and also across Canada.

She works from an anti-oppressive inclusive framework
