0:09.0	this last message is going to be a challenging message. Not to all of you, I know, but to some.
0:15.8	But before I get there, I want to recap what we have been seeing throughout the series of messages. We have been
0:22.6	seeing how God's blessings, God's peace, God's joy always follows a praise-filled life. Here is a
0:37.1	principle that you must never forget. Blessings follow praise. Would you say that
0:44.9	with me? Blessings follow praise. Blessings always follow praise. But I want to be very clear, while God does respond with blessings to the praise. But I want to be very clear, while God does respond with blessings to the praised-filled
0:58.7	life, his blessings are only the byproduct. Did you get that? It's a byproduct of the praise-filled
1:07.7	life. But there's more that I want to emphasize. At least one more thing.
1:14.3	Our Heavenly Father is not motivated to bless us just because we utter some words that we know he
1:23.9	likes to hear, you see. But rather, our Heavenly Father is motivated to bless us
1:32.3	because praise and thanksgiving places us in the posture of receiving more of his blessings.
1:43.4	Let me illustrate this from a Semitic language's point of view.
1:49.5	When Psalm 103 said, bless the Lord, oh my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name,
1:56.3	the root word for that word, bless the Lord, baraka in the Semitic languages.
2:04.2	Bless, baraka.
2:06.4	It has its root in kneeling.
2:10.5	And it comes from the fact that in the Middle East a camel has to kneel all the way down and all four in order that he may
2:20.7	receive the goodies. A camel is very tall. You can't dump the stuff on the camel unless he kneels.
2:27.7	So the two words are interconnected. As you kneel in praise, you get the blessing.
