There have long been many rumors of corrupt law enforcement in Walker County spanning back decades.

This is a hard topic for me as I'm generally a supporter of law enforcement, but after giving it much thought, I know I can't set the scene

and mindset of a significant part of the population without mentioning it.

And with the number of comments and messages we are receiving on this topic

it's obvious that the people of Walker County want this topic brought to light.

This isn't aimed at the many honest and hardworking men and women who serve

and protect their communities every day. I've met many law enforcement officers in Walker County

that I believe love their communities and are
