I have another Star Wars Superman franchise connection for you.

Every time I watch the scene around mid-97 where Luke is wandering the falls of

Weston and he's on floating in carbonine with global set, I think of the opening credits

of the Superman movie. This is because my first copy of the Empire Strikes Back was a VHS recording off of Showtime during the 80s.

At some point, Superman, the movie was recorded on the same tape, but for whatever reason,

the recording was started at the moment, Luke was wandering the halls, cutting

We're in the carbon freezing chamber.

It starts off with the Hans Solo slab

being lifted out of the pit by the big claw arm. And it ends a minute later with. slab being city. Yeah, we got to good, well first off, I think we see Laya's horrified face, you know,

while the kind of slab is still being lifted, Laya has that face that it's just like,

ugh, like she has it again later, I think when she says, like, my father, you know, she's, that, like, oh, a disgusted face.

And then the slab just gets kind of unceremoniously toppled.

Yeah, I was kind of surprised about that, that they were just kind of, it must be so loud
