Hi everybody this is Scott Sad I recently finished the autobiography by Eric

Kendall the Nobel Prize winning neuroscientist who studied the biology of learning and memory.

Great book by the way I highly recommended and what happens to me almost

invariably when I finish a book is I then face a choice paralysis because

I'm sort of frozen in my indecision as to which book to read next amongst my many prospective contenders within my personal library.

And so I decided to choose one of my recent purchases, this book right here, how to think like a Roman emperor by Donald

Robertson.

And so I started reading it, I was at the cafe, I started reading it, I was very excited by some of the

stories that I was reading in there, and as often happens to me, I want to share my excitement

with the world. So I went on Twitter and I

shared the fact that I was reading this book and it looked really promising so far and

interesting and then I decided okay let me go and check to see if the author, Donald

Robertson, is someone who's on Twitter because it seems like this might be a gentleman

that, you know, I may wish to invite on the sad truth and I believe if

memory serves me right he came up in a previous conversation I had with a good friend of mine who's a colleague of mine.

He's also a clinical psychologist.

And so he, so Donald Robertson had been someone that I had vaguely heard of but I had never read any of his stuff and so I went on Twitter

Found out that he was on Twitter and to my

Surprise I then found out that he actually lived in Montreal.

So I tagged him within a few, you know, within the same couple of hours, you know, he had responded. I had replied back.

Then we were, you know, he followed me, I followed him back. We started DMing each other and

agreed that it would be great to meet up, certainly for a coffee,
