Summary

Jesus felt sadness—and he feels the sadness so many of us are feeling in the world right now. There’s one thing that brings Jesus sadness more than anything else, and it’s the same thing that keeps us from experiencing His joy. In this message, you’ll hear three ways you can experience joy with Jesus, and why it’s so much better being joyful together than feeling sadness alone.

0:06.2	So many emotions.
0:07.8	We're looking at the emotions of Jesus.
0:10.2	And today, I want to look at an emotion that a lot of people don't think of.
0:13.6	I want to look at the sadness of Jesus.
0:16.9	Because if we can look at what makes him sad,
0:20.6	we perhaps can discover what brings him joy.
0:25.2	It brings me great joy to do something really different this weekend.
0:29.8	I'm going to team teach, believe it or not, with over 100 different pastors.

0:37.6	Like for real.
0:38.6	You're going, how is that going to happen?
0:40.6	I don't have time to listen to 100 different people.
0:43.2	Now, you're going to listen to one, and each of our live church locations,
0:47.0	your campus pastor, has chosen some people, many of whom have never ever preached before.
0:52.6	So you have some assignments today.
0:54.9	What I want you to do is hear God's word.
0:58.4	Believe God's word.
1:00.2	Apply God's word.
1:01.9	Let it speak to you and build your faith.
1:05.0	And I also want you to help these preachers preach, encourage them, cheer them on.
