Hey friends I am so glad you're with me today for the morning I said.

Do you realize that when you get your mind aligned with the truth of God's word. You are building up the overall body of Christ.

You're strengthening the whole by strengthening yourself. You're becoming a more active and

capable part of the body of Christ through your faith in him and the alignment of your mind with his truth.

That's an encouraging thing. I hope you feel encouraged that you're taking steps to grow in your faith and in your effectiveness for the

Lord Jesus Christ. Today we're going to be looking at the Gospel of John

chapter 20 verses 11 through 14.

So please take out your copy of the scriptures

so we can go through this together.

But before we do, I want you to pray with me

that we will together, understand God's truth

and apply it to our own lives.

Lord Jesus, we ask you to reveal to us what we need to see today in this account of Mary at the tomb and the sorrow and anguish that she was

feeling and what it tells us about our own response to the things that happened in our lives Lord we're asking

you to illuminate us to help us. We ask it in Jesus' name, amen.

Now if you notice the title of this episode, it's that emotions can obscure our view.

You know what it means for your view to be obscured?

Sometimes you're driving in your car and the sun is just right down on the horizon and it makes it hard for you to see

the road. That's one way in which your view can be obscured. Sometimes it's because you're in a

fog and you can't see beyond five or six feet in front of you, that's

another way your view can be obscured.

Friends, our emotions many times can obscure our view.
