I have an emotional therapist I think so my issue is that I could be very emotionally cold where yeah it's shut down where I can be very straight to the

point if like for example if I'm stressed out I want to be left alone if I'm sick I want to go die in a corner I don't want to be touched

all that and you're naturally a giver I'm naturally a giver yeah but for myself when I'm

struggling I want to be left alone and then that's not healthy and then also for me

I didn't even realize that I never thought about my

emotions I would just react so let's say I'm stressed out and one of our team

members does something wrong.

I would get angry.

And I just thought I was an angry person.

But my therapist said that I'm actually an anxious person

because anger is a secondary emotion so I'm anxious

and then my trigger is to get angry and try to fix the problem with that have you

heard of that before? Yeah, yeah.

I just learned this like this week.

So there's a few pieces here.

The first part, givers generally withdraw

when they have nothing to give, Right, because they feel uncomfortable receiving.

Yeah.

And so if they're in other people's presence and they don't have anything to give,

it makes them feel even more uncomfortable and it doubles down on their energy level right it

takes from them even more yeah so if they're sick they're stressed out they're tired

they tend to want to withdraw just having an awareness of that can help you one get more into reciprocal relationship
