Summary

Nigerian-American former NFL linebacker and Author of “Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man”, Emmanuel Acho, joins Kaitlyn to provide a very open, honest and insightful discussion on race. After being interviewed by Matthew McConaughey and Oprah, Emmanuel landed the position of Host of “After the Final Rose” on Matt James’ season of the Bachelor which was ultimately defined by racial controversy. Attending an affluent White school while he was growing up and unknowingly being subject of racist comments and with an intention now to change the world, Emmanuel is using his voice to be a powerful bridge between Black people and White people to address questions that many do not want to answer. Emmanuel also shares publicly for the first time his thoughts on Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell getting back together despite the controversy. You can find Emmanuel on IG at @emmanuelacho And the concluding segment on this episode is a mini interview with June’s Pump Your Tires LGBTQ2+ Small Business winner @projectopenbooks!
