0:29.7	Emma, welcome, lovely to be speaking with you.
0:32.7	Thank you, thanks for having me.
0:36.5	Can I kick off, Emma, and asking you about, in 2017, you had a horrendous year,
0:42.3	and you were dreaming at that point of heading off for 2018,
0:46.1	a little bit like Elizabeth Gilbert did in E-Pray Love or Shell Straight in Wild.
0:50.8	What had led you to that point?
0:53.6	So, yeah, so 2017, I think I call it the year that never was at the start of the book,
1:01.3	but I can actually remember all the bad bits like it was yesterday.
1:05.6	And I guess it was the perfect storm, really.
1:08.1	It was lots of small things that wouldn't normally be enough to rock a boat on their own,
1:13.4	like life and work, stress and parenting young children.
1:17.4	And then a few bigger things happened that year.
1:20.2	We relocated, moved away from friends, moving house obviously is massively stressful.
1:26.5	Both my husband and I changed jobs, we were settling kids into new schools,
1:30.4	like there was lots of change going on.
1:32.2	And then my husband's father died and what was already a rather precarious house of cards
1:41.0	all came crashing down and I just felt terrible.
