0:02.2	Before we get into today's episode, I just wanted to give you a heads up that we will be taking a little break for the summer and we will be back in mid-August.

0:17.2	There is nothing I could say that would better introduce this episode than an Instagram post written by Emily Peterson's daughter, Eliza.
0:25.6	On November 10th, 2021, she wrote, in the past five days, my entire world has been turned upside down.
0:32.8	Last Friday, my dad went to the doctor because he had been really tired and a bit imbalanced in the
0:37.8	past week. Little things were going wrong, like him forgetting which turn to take while driving,
0:43.0	tripping on nothing, and not being able to type or write well. Once at the doctor, they immediately
0:48.0	sent him to the ER for an MRI on his brain and found out that he has cancer all throughout
0:53.2	the entire right side of his brain.
0:55.8	After multiple visits to the doctor, we've found that he has cancer all throughout the entire
1:00.4	right side of his brain and at the top of his brain stem. It is an extremely fast-growing and
1:06.0	aggressive cancer and a terminal diagnosis. We don't know how long he has, but it is most likely not long.
1:12.7	It is to the point where he cannot stand or walk on his own. His fine motor skills are shaky,
1:17.6	and some of his cognition is starting to fade. I was reluctant to post anything, but tomorrow
1:22.8	afternoon he has a major biopsy in surgery at Huntsman, and I would like to ask all of you to fast or pray for
1:29.7	my dad. No matter what you believe in or who you are, pray that his time with us will be lengthened,
1:35.1	that he will be protected during surgery from any harm, that his recovery from the surgery
1:39.9	will be full and quick, that the doctors will be guided in being exact and perfect in their
1:45.1	performance of the surgery, that our family will be able to feel peace and comfort and that everything
1:50.4	will work out according to God's plan for our family.
1:54.3	I never imagined something like this would happen to my family.
