They've had to campaign for their work in the midst of various criticisms and controversies engulfing the film,

that Camille says she's okay with that.

for a deep dive into the musical world of Amelia Perez.

After director Jacques Gouard handed the married songwriting team a 20-page treatment,

they undertook a month-long collaboration on the full script. And yes, they have something to say about the controversy

surrounding Amelia Perez, lead actress Carlos Sophia Gascon's bigoted social media posts.
