the podcast didn't we? We have been leaving promoting the news show when news came through

Jeremy Corwin's suspension from the Labour Party after news that the equality and human rights

commission had found the Labour Party responsible for unlawful harassment and discrimination during

his term as leader. So here we are with an emergency podcast on the same day as the very

I'm Andrew Harrison and I've got Ian Dunton, Alex Andreia with me, a Shell Shop and

So Ian firstly did you watch Starmer's speech in the press conference did you see it?

Yeah yeah what did you make of it because it was quite a thing.

It was I mean it was good the thing is you can't

um he said the right things and he has this opportunity because the report is saying look

the leader of the opposition's office under Jeremy Corbyn you know was interfering in things

that kind of gives him a bit of a get out for a lot of this office you can just say well look

I'm not going to make the same mistake I'm sending up I'm setting up this sort of legitimate

clear independent process for complaints so then ask me to get to involved and so people looking

at it could go either way right you'd be like well maybe he really is going to he's going to be

pretty tough on this stuff or maybe he's using that as an excuse what happened in the moments after

that yes we're just waiting about now and while you know we're suspending Jeremy Corbyn you're

like okay so he's clearly going to take this very seriously Ian. Yeah I mean we can certain people

of the Starmer's not really up for the fight persuasion we're kind of expecting a damp

squibble some kicking into the long grass that's very much not what happened but large of it's to say
