Sheila Ford Hamp, Lions team owner, has finally pulled the trigger on Bob Quinn and Matt Patricia. The Quintricia

era is over, as both men have been relieved of their duties fired today as general manager

and head coach respectively, as the Lions under Patricia over the last three years, 13, 29 and 1,

and a 4 and 7 record this season, fresh off of the Thanksgiving embarrassment

where the Houston Texans whacked the Lions 41 to 25 and what was an ugly performance.

I'm a little bit stunned that Bob Quinn is gone.

I, have you, if you've been listening to the podcast over the last couple days, I told you,

I thought for sure Quinn would stay due to his relationship with team president, Rod Wood. Rod Wood is going to stay on.

Sheila Ford Hamps said today she doesn't think that that Wood's role is going to change.

Sheila was on the Zoom call for most of the press conference today.

A press conference, by the way, that was not streamed live by the organization, not on their

Facebook page, not on

their website, not on Twitter, which is so disgusting and gross because you, the fans, didn't

get a chance to hear directly from ownership. There's no reason this thing couldn't have not been

streamed live. They stream Matt Patricia every day. It's ridiculous and it's a slap in the

face to you the fans. Then on top of that, you go to the team's website right now, as I'm recording
