Folks, D'Day's here, and I wanted to wait to do this until more facts were in.

You know, we've always said on our show whenever we've had

tragedies or near tragedies like the attempted assassination against

former President Trump here today that we don't ever want to be in a hurry to be the first to be wrong.

And so I spent some time today listening to my buddy Dan Bongino's rumble chat, former

Secret Service agent, needed a fantastic job following as much of this coverage

as possible.

And then I had to do one more thing.

I had to run out and put the Trump sign, go get a Trump sign and put it in

my yard, which I thought I'd do it Monday and I said I'm not waiting, I'm doing it right now,

and I just did. And that's also why I didn't want to wait until Monday

to get something to you guys about what we've all witnessed here today and where we are at.

Because I think all of us and I think President Trump included.

We're just given another Trump included.

We're just given another stark reminder of who our enemies are, of their dark and demonic worldview, and how far they are willing to take it.

And... This needs to be the galvanizing moment that 9-11 should have been for people like us, but it wasn't.

It was galvanizing for about a week and then they told us,

you know what, go back to shopping at big box stores

enjoying your consumerism or the terrorist win and it just unless you were living in the

shadows of the smoldering ruins of the Pentagon or the two towers unless you had a loved one being deployed, you were being deployed yourself.

For the rest of us, on a daily basis, it did not feel like America was at war, we were not galvanized.

And we got softer after 9-11.
