My name is Brad Rowland. I am usually joined by either Scott Coleman or Eric Cole on this podcast fee, but we're throwing it back a little bit to the old days when I launched this podcast alongside Carlos Colazo. On a few occasions, I've been solo in this space, and we're actually recording

this. And I say, wait, it's really just me, by myself. I am taking one for the team. Everybody's

watching the game. It's the biggest game of the season for the Braves right now. I do have it on

in front of me. I'll try not to get too distracted by the game itself, but it is Friday,

September 30th, and we're coming to you live here at about 8.15 p.m. Eastern time after drawing some notes down. I'm going sort of lo-fi, old school, kind of similar to my friend

Stephen Godfrey, who hosts a solo show called the Single Wing on the Split Zone Duo podcast.

He is more of a monologueer in the way that I'm about to be. Also, a Braves fan.

September 30th, and the Braves made a pretty on-branded Braves announcement on Friday evening.

There was no lead-up, there was no reporting, and the Braves just announced that they had given and agreed to a $20 million extension for the 20-23 season with Charlie Morton.
