a huge, huge, I think, game for us in terms of speed experience and obviously the championship experience as well.

So additionally to that, we see him being a big part of our penalty killing and continuing to try to make that better.

The caps get out ahead of the trade deadline, which is Monday at 3 o'clock,

and they make a move trading a third round pick next year and a conditional sixth round pick

Well, you know, one of the big things, I do like the acquisition. I love the player. He's been

very good. I guess the concern is what he's doing on the offensive board this year, but the caps

have a few guys that way right now. And the other thing, the two draft picks thing is also in a high,

it would seem rather high for a third round pick for a guy that's only got not even a handful of goals this year,

is that L.A. is taking half of his salary.

Pittsburgh already had some of the salaries.

So the caps are only getting a 1.875 cap

that's why the wave of the million dollar salary of Devante Spipelli, that with the open

cap space that they had and having too many players. That's why that move had to be played.

But on the other side of it, Carl Hagelin's been a terrific player in the playoffs over the course of his career, rather with New York Rangers or the Pittsburgh Penguins. He scored some big goals against the Capitals, and the Capitals are hoping they can get some of that in the playoffs. But first and foremost, they need a really good penalty killer. Calla Hagelin's a very, very good penalty killer. Yeah, I mean,
