The 49ers opened training camp on Saturday, with Kyle Shanahan not being a full participant.

The team disclosed that Shanahan sustained injuries in a car accident last week.

Shanahan sustained a concussion and broken bones that will keep him sidelines.

So now it's up to the rest of the team to cover for their head coach.

And that includes how the 49ers coaches and players will approach this first few days of training camp.
