Summary
Host Ian Hartitz gets himself together enough to break down the fantasy implications of Los Angeles Rams RB Cam Akers tearing his Achilles. The obvious beneficiary of this news: Darrell Henderson, although Ian isn't as convinced as others about his potential to immediately take over the full three-down role. This is mostly because we haven't seen Henderson afforded this opportunity during his two-year career. Still, the likelihood of Henderson working as at least the lead, if not undisputed, back in this offense is too much to rank him as anything other than a mid-tier RB2. The rest of the Rams' running backs are truly nobodies, meaning it's not a matter of if, but when, a veteran back is signed. Ian goes through some potential options and prays for Henderon's value that it's more of an early-down veteran as opposed to a scat back.
What to expect from Darrell Henderson (1:23) Do any other Rams RBs have value (7:42) What FA RBs could the Rams add? (9:29)

| 0:47.7 | was the number one rising second year running back all off season. We talked about why he had the potential to get the tall girly |
| 0:54.9 | every down roll more so than other players. The amount of empty useless conversations. I have engaged with people |
| 1:02.0 | I don't even know on Twitter about cam acres versus Jonathan Taylor all for nothing because he is going to miss the entire season |
| 1:09.2 | with Nikhil's injury as we have to do in the fancy football streets. We will move on wish cam acres the best of luck |
| 1:15.4 | please recover man love watching him play love the visors love everything about cam acres. Fortunately, he's not going to be on television screens for quite sometime and we need to adjust try to find out the injury ramifications of this. That's the purpose of today's emergency podcast. We will get right into that. So basically guy on the end of everyone's mouth. Darryl Henderson. I get why I told you guys in my handcuffs, you know podcast narco we did last week. Henderson was someone that should have been prioritized already in favor. |
| 1:45.4 | So I was a fan. He drafts and I wrote this exact paragraph in mind just who are the leads from your handcuffs piece. It's certainly possible to Ram's utilize a two back committee of sorts between acres and Henderson still acres late season usage makes him the favor to see the sort of every down roll that made girly a fancy superstar in 2017 2018 seasons. |
| 2:03.4 | So I'm still a fan of Henderson as value because it seems likely that he would get the chance to work on all three downs in the event acres injured the only reason is not in the previous tier because we haven't seen Sean McVeigh afford him this sort of role just yet. |
| 2:22.4 | So I'm just saying missing between Henderson between the Tavius Murray Tony Pollard Alexander Madison even though we had the game script Atlanta game I'll get to that you know Kareem Hunt all these guys with an injury immediately go up to 80% 90% snapbacks I'm just not positive that's what Henderson is going to have it's not like last year acres had this role all throughout the season that we had to worry about he didn't play more than 33% of the offense of snaps in a game until week 13 last year. |
| 2:51.4 | Now after that he completely dominated touch and snap share alike it was pretty clear here the RB one was going to be but Henderson again without acres even playing born 33% of the offense is snaps for the first 12 weeks only worked as the PPR RB 29 teammate Malcolm Brown was right behind him as the RB 35 now Malcolm Brown is not a member of the Miami dolphins and it would make sense if Henderson being the undisputed backup that he was is now he's a starter with the acres gone. |
| 3:20.4 | Obviously maybe gets that whole with Malcolm Brown not there maybe we can just combine that we combine that we have had to are before nearly ahead of James Robinson so I get it we can get one back under Sean McVay that's fantastic i'm just not super convinced Henderson is necessarily that one back takes after |
| 3:39.4 | the third round in 2019 he played behind Malcolm Brown he played behind dusty tall girly who they wouldn't even pay to come back they forced him to take you know I forget the specific issues with that but Henderson has chance in 2019 couldn't do anything Henderson has chance in 2020 really didn't do that much he was good people i'm not trying to say |
| 3:58.4 | Henderson is anything other than a good enough all back he was p up 15 highest grade rusher racked up 20 runs of at least 10 yards I mean within the first five weeks of the year he had RB 11 RB 11 and RB 6 finishes but we look at his you know pro game usage and again this was in a time where the Rams were begging to find a new identity in the rushing game on offense |
| 4:19.4 | Anderson just really didn't ever give it to him he had the great game against the bills 20 carries 114 yards in a touchdown but they never gave him more than 15 carries in a game after that and this the past down was usage which is particularly concerning I'm not saying he's incompetent by any stretch of the imagination but he only caught 16 passes last year I mean there were let's see |
| 4:41.4 | half of his games yeah literally eight eight of his 15 games more than half he had one or less targets that is a problem I am not sure Henderson is has the belief of the coaching staff to be the same sort of three down back that girly that CJ Henderson that Malcolm Brown that even cam |
| 5:00.4 | the players apparently earned in his eyes so we'll see they clearly believe in him that's why they you know we're we're content to let Malcolm Brown lead and we're also getting some words that and this is courtesy of some of our always spectacular fellow pf analysts courtesy and thanks |
| 5:17.4 | to so so for bringing us to my attention but from Peter Shreger who's a great Rams beat writer acres news that blow the Rams offense and more importantly the player he's a great kid one no I don't see the Rams panicking and rushing out to sound |
