I have just woke up 15 minutes ago to the news that the Packers have moved on from Joe Barry.

I'm hoping it's not a report from CNN Sports, which seems a little bit shaky at the

moment.

But no, it does seem legitimate.

Let me start off by saying, never going to celebrate anyone's termination, firing,

getting moved on from, et cetera.

And I do legitimately think Joe Barry is one of the nicest dudes in coaching.

I do think that this was probably a hard decision for Matt LaFleur to make.

I do believe that Joe Barry will land on his feet.

I do legitimately think that he is arguably one of the

best linebacker coaches in the NFL. He just hasn't shown to be a good defensive coordinator.

And while I will not celebrate his termination, I will absolutely celebrate the fact that Green Bay

has decided to move into a different direction and that they will be getting a new

defensive coordinator in 2024. I've said it this week. I didn't think that these last four

games were quite as good as maybe even they looked on paper. You had two pretty weak

offensive opponents in Minnesota and Chicago. I didn't think the game against,
