for Nick Siriani.

He was set to enter the final year of his initial contract, a five-year deal.

He was never going to go into a lame duck season.

We knew this was going to happen eventually, but it finally does.

Yeah, and it was inevitable, and Jeff Lurie talked about it at the Media Day.

I stood there for an hour figuring out what spot he was going to be in.

Nobody really knew and got up in front and asked the first question about Nick's future.

And I think Zach Berman followed up.

And he didn't want to say he's going to be here.

You didn't want to say we're going to give him an extension.
