I literally just walked back to the Scorn North Studios from a raucous TCF Bank Stadium

where the gophers just pulled the biggest win of my life as a gopers fan.

I was born in 1985, and the 34 years of watching gophers football or maybe 30, 29 or 30 years of consciously watching gopers football is almost entirely defined by heartbreak and blown leads in games like 2003 Michigan where freshman Phil Mackey is sitting with his friends,

a couple beers in, probably illegally,

trying to figure out how to storm the field as Michigan chips away at a three

touchdown lead, down to two, down to one.

Every step of the way has been heartbreak.

And I think today for guys like me, for guys like Doogie, who I'm going to bring on here to start this show, was therapeutic.

It was church in session in some ways.

I don't know, man.

This is the most elated I've ever felt as a guy who's been watching Gofer Football for 34 years, Dugues.
