So I was driving to Long Island for a play date when the notification came up on my phone that Julius Randall had entered health and safety protocols.

Not what I was expecting to see today at all.

And I'm still in a little bit of shock just because this is something that we've been talking about for, seems like the last few weeks, the notion that, like, what would this team look like without Julius Randall is funny I saw

Jeremy sent out a tweet a little while ago in which he was like you know last season it was

where would the Knicks be without Julius Randall this season where would the Knicks be

without Julius Randall um albeit in completely different context. And, you know, last night

was interestingly enough kind of kind of a breaking point in terms of the frustration level

with this player and the performance of this player and all of those things.

And it's just, it's interesting that this news comes down today.

There's a lot of questions and I'm going to get to some of them, but first let me just say,

look, this is still a disease that has caused a lot of people, a lot pain um andro claudio um has been dealing with

this uh really a lot um on multiple fronts over uh the last week he knows you know as well as anyone

the the you know the the aggravation and the stress and everything else that this could

cause and obviously there are a lot of people out there you know who have had some very very serious

loss um as a result of this so first and foremost we hope that julius randall and his family

are okay that he's, that everybody gets out of

this in one piece.
