Rug Union Weekly Wednesday 7 June its emergency pod time, I know weird, down tools for the summer

break but events of this week and at London Arish has meant a lot of you have got in touch

understandably wanting some reactions to the devastating news that London Arish have been

suspended from the premiership are out of the English rugby structure full stop and it's

been confirmed on Wednesday morning have filed for administration so we're going to a

friend of the pod we're going to a man with London Arish in his blood we're going to a

returning rugby Union Weekly hero in Alex Corbusiero Corbs great to have you on again admittedly

not in the circumstances that we may all have wanted.

Chris yeah great to be on but yeah terrible times to talk about at the moment just heartbreaking

news for London Arish really for me my heart goes out to the players staff fans the supporters

the people that make that club a special family as it is it's just devastating news and

it's been a slow sort of you know five six week sort of crawl with lots of bad news and

lack of positive news to really drag it out and make it quite a um a hard time for everyone involved.

So over the course of the pod we're going to pick through the bones of what's happened at London

Arish what's happened across the league this season and maybe look to the future this has to be the

start of a new door and this has to be the start of a fresh future and a line in the sand because

it has just been a catastrophic season off the field for English club rugby where does it go from

here but a corpse 20 years plus association with the club it's got a sting hasn't it when you

know that it's no more. Yeah it's heartbreaking and I think I spent about a decade of my life at that club

but I just can't think of stop thinking of all the good memories I've had and the amazing time

I've had and and how much the club means to me but I think what really is that the tough part is
