He says if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back

let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his

soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.

You see how the gospel works? It doesn't stop with you.

It spills over and over and over out toward your neighbors.

This is preaching Christ.

Preaching Christ is a radio collection of sermons from Lutheran pastors around the world

with his gracious gifts for the church's blessing.

Indeed, as the church celebrates next Sunday, the Holy Spirit came.

He came in power with gracious saving gifts. He came on Pentecost Sunday. But we

are a church that still waits, waits expectantly, waiting for the glory of Jesus to be

revealed to all.

Soon, for the end of all things is at hand.

And while we wait for the visible manifestation of Jesus,

we enjoy his presence in his word and in his sacraments.

And we pray, we love, we proclaim the forgiving word

to one another and to our neighbors.
