And yet if you've been in this life for a while, you know how easy it is to be tempted to doubt,

God's word.

All of life really can be easily summarized with just one question.

And it is this, will we trust God's word?

I don't know if you've ever thought about it, but what would we do without God's word?

Without God's word, we wouldn't know God.

Without God's word, we wouldn't know his son Jesus Christ.

And without the knowledge of God and his son Jesus Christ, we wouldn't really

know the true meaning and purpose of life. And we certainly wouldn't know about any kind of

wonderful hope on the other side of death. God gives us his word and he gives us his word that we might believe it and that we might trust it and that we might live according to it.

And yet if you've been in this life for a while, you know how easy it is to be tempted to doubt

God's word, to argue with God's word, and even to reject God's word. Of course we all know how easy it is to believe God's word

when we like what it says and when life is going good.
