If you've snapped benefits and they are going to be running out because of the shutdown, you can use DoorDash. they're doing an emergency food response.

Also, I have maligned these delivery companies notifications so much that I felt I needed to know it when they were doing something cool. Okay. I won't make it about you.

Let's make it about DoorDash to start.

I think that this is noble. This is good. However, I see the evil and everything. It also feels like a press release to win goodwill amongst the people because they are an industry that gets a lot of criticism. That's true. I'll also just note that I don't think this is DoorDash's responsibility.

Fair. So I'm like, you know, they are. This is the government's responsibility. They have shut down. So Dorash has said, you know what? We'll step in. The least we can do. I don't actually want DoorDash to be the person providing the service, the company providing this service. but I thought it was no way that they are.

I would prefer it was the government.

But snap is the supplemental nutrition assistance program if you don't know. And they benefits more than 40 million Americans, including 21 million children. They're waving. It's a door to dash is waving delivery and service fees for 300,000 people for grocery orders, which is also great. You know, you don't only have to get like McDonald's, you can order the groceries that you would have bought with your snap card. So I think it's great.

And FYI, if you haven't, please turn off all your notifications for all your food deliveries because I have. It has changed my life. We trust you to check in on your order once you've made it. You don't need a notification. You don't. I trust you. That's the point. Let's move on to Grubhub. That is also kind of doing something cool. This is definitely a gimmick and looking for goodwill. Yes. But I really like it. They know their market. Also, I just got to apologize for my voice. I don't know. I'm sick. Whatever. I'm not that sick. I have a cold.

It's your flu game. It's autumn. I have a cold. I think a lot of people that ring are sick right now anyway. Okay, this is called Grubhub snus insurance. And basically, grubhub has found that up to, I don't know how they do their data research. So let's not fact check. But they say, 72% of college students have missed their late night delivery order throughout their college career. And it's because they're so drunk, they sleep. They order it. They fall asleep. What they do is they do a survey of college kids, like around the nation. They hire some company to do it. But here's what happens. I guess. Like,. They do. They must. Okay. Here's what I guess the most operandi is for college kids is go out, get drunk, come home, drunk. Wouldn't a late night snack be great? Order said late night snack, fall asleep, and then wake up to cold fast food on your doorstep. Yeah. Basically.

So they've counteracted that with this program.
