Unfortunately, we have some very bad Jets news to break down.

Multiple national reporters, Adam Schefter, Diana Rusini, Jordan Schultz, saying today,

the Jets' fear of starting right guard,

Elijah Vera Tucker, has suffered a major injury. The Jets believe it is a torn triceps, which would

be a season-ending injury. It would be the third time in four years that ABT has suffered a major

injury that ends his season. This is very, very bad news for the New York Jets on many

levels. I think that if you're looking for one small silver lining, it does exist. And that small

silver lining is that if the Jets had to suffer an injury somewhere, the spot they are probably

best equipped to deal with it is on the

interior offensive line because your primary backup on the inside of the offensive line is

Josh Myers, a guy who may not be an all-pro caliber player, but a guy with over 50 starts

in his career, a guy who can give you credible football at the center position, a guy who's one of the best backup offensive linemen in the league, and a guy who's probably the best backup the Jets have.

If the Jets suffered an injury at a number of other spots, they would have nobody of Josh Myers' caliber who could step up.

What will likely happen going forward is Myers will become the starting center.

Joe Tipman will then move to right guard.

You may remember in training camp, John Simpson briefly suffered an injury during the first

exhibition game.

Myers played center.

Tipman slid over to left guard.
