Brandon Huffman to break down a big commitment that just went down.

Cyrus Moss, the four-star edge from Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas, Nevada, is heading to the southeast

and has committed to Miami.

Brandon, thanks so much for coming on. First and foremost, what is your initial reaction to Moss's

decision to follow Mario Cristobal across the country and join the Kane's 22 class?

This is one of the better rallies that we have seen in the 22 class because when Cyrus Moss released its top three in late

fall, it was Arizona State, Alabama, and Oregon. Now, we knew that Oregon was a factor largely

because of Mario Cristobal. Miami wasn't on that list. USC wasn't on that list. And the Trojans

and the hurricanes both ended up feeling pretty good about their chances at Cyrus, largely because

of the head coaching change.

And that head coaching change at Oregon with Mario Cristobal leaving the University of Oregon for the University of Miami,

hurt the ducks, but obviously helped Miami. And I think Miami, you know, we thought that Cyrus Moss was going to stay on the West Coast.

He had a crystal ball to Oregon for much of the cycle, and ultimately,

Mario Cristobal gets him, but this time it's across the country at the University of Miami. And I think you got to talk a little bit of this up to Bubba Bolden, the former Bishop

Gorman Safety, who went to USC for a couple years and then transferred to Miami.

Granted, he played under Mani Diaz, but it kind of opened up a pipeline. I know Tate Martel was there as well. There was a couple other West Coast kids there as well.

But I think Mario Cristobal, that relationship that he developed with Cyrus Mosque made

impossible for the hurricanes to get him, despite really Miami itself recruiting Cyrus for

just a brief amount of time.
