I saw a randomized controlled trial in the pediatric literature on ketamine for termination

of status epilepticus used much earlier than we have in the past.

You should just be for super refractory seizures, and this was using it with the first dose

of benzodiazepines in patients with seizures that have been lasting by the median time, 34 minutes.

And I mentioned it in a rack-lit review, and Justin Morganstern from first 10 am. did a post about it,

and I figured I'd get him on the line because I just love to debate stuff.

So we're going to have a little debate on when ketamine should be used for status epilepticus

in 2025. And then in a couple weeks, I've already recorded a episode of State of the Crit

with Josh Farkas from Palm Critt and myself, and we actually contextualize this paper and a whole bunch

of other stuff to really tell you where you should be for status epilepticus in 2025.

So that'll be coming soon.
