Hey folks, this is Scott Weingart and this is another M-Krit episode of Shadow Boxing, where we take a concept from Gary Klein on the best way to learn complex tacit knowledge, which is to have a case presented to you and

force you to make decisions before you actually hear from experts in the field

as to what they would do and then you could compare your decision

making to what they did and you might be right and they might be wrong but most of the

time they're going to be right and your decision may be correct or not And it is a fantastic way to learn.

And this is a free resource we put out there

for residents and fellows, but we find that there's

a ton of attendings and other health care

specialties listening as well.

So it's for the good of all fellow kind.

And I guess I should say happy Thanksgiving

and if you're in America because today is Turkey Day in America, I would strongly urge you to use this day as what its name is for, which is think of all the good things in your life and have some gratitude for them.
