Hey folks, Scott Weingart here and this is, but not the full Amcrit podcast, this is just a teaser.

It's a teaser of an amazing conversation I had with the authors of the TTM2 trial,

discussing what you should do in terms of temperature management in a patient post-orest.

Should you cool? Sneak, pick, no. No, you probably shouldn't, unless they're actually febrile.

I'm sure there's many doubters who would disagree with that statement, but this is just a teaser

of that conversation, which was an amazing conversation, 30 minutes with the lead author and

lead investigator of the TTM2 trial. But the reason this is just a teaser is going to be explained

in the next two minutes and hopefully at the end of it you'll be able to get the full episode

because you should listen because it's freaking amazing. All right, let's go right into the spiel.

A big change at Amcrit. Now you might have received this in your email, you might have seen

the blog post, but let's talk about it here in my primary forum, the audio forum.

Amcrit has been foam, free open access medical education for the past dozen years, and I have

loved providing free medical education. I wouldn't have changed a single bit of that, but we're

finally at a crossroads where I want to do more and I cannot do more and still be a single person

production team. It's just not going to work. I need a technical team. I need people to help

do the non-content side of the podcast. And in order to do that, I have to switch from a foam

model to a paid model for the podcast. And what that's going to allow me to do is put out even more

shows, better shows, really concentrate on all of the recess and acute critical care stuff that I've

wanted to have that I've had in the pipeline for a while. I'm going to be doing a second podcast

for subscribers only, the on deeper reflection podcast about all of the non-medical stuff we've

discussed on Amcrit throughout the years. I think it makes a lot of sense to break it out on
