What do you do?

So my name is Casey Alvin.

I am a assistant professor of neurology at neurosurgery at Emory.

I'm in the ICU, 100% clinical.

So it's a big, it's a huge hospital, 14 neuros, dedicated neuro ICU beds.

That sounds like an amazing job.

It's awesome.

Today, we're going to talk about cerebral venastrombosis, it goes by a lot of names, we'll get

to that.

But you seem to have a certain joy in this disease, obviously not at the expense of our

patients, but it's an academic interest, is that fair?
