Hey folks, Scott Wangart here and this is the M Crit Podcast.

Today on the podcast, a new segment that will do semi-regurally and it's called Galley

Grills.

And I guess in order to understand this particular episode, you'll need to know two people.

And the first one is my co-host for Galley Grills, Sam Galley.

Now Sam is a ED doc and resuscitation doc at the University of Florida in Jacksonville.

He has an enormous following on Twitter.

He puts out great medical education stuff there.

The reason we're doing this segment is a unique mindset that Sam has had.

As long as I've known him as a buddy, Sam is a socratic method practitioner in that.

Once he asks you a question and you give him an answer, if it doesn't make sense perfectly,

if there is an additional level of why, if you haven't quite gotten to the point of

a fundamental first principle thinking, Sam has no issue whatsoever on continuing to

question until he gets you to the point where you've either found those first principles

or you start questioning whether you truly understand a topic as well as you thought.

And I'm like, wow, this is perfect for the M Crit Podcast.

So now when Sam sends me questions, as he often does, I just tell him put in the hopper,

we'll do a Galley Grills episode on it.

So you'll hear from Sam shortly.

The person you won't hear about for this particular episode, but you need to know his name

because I talk about him frequently during the next 10 minutes is a gent named Nader Habashi.
