Now, when I was training in emergency medicine,

You know, we had a lot of suspected cases,

And so I didn't have much experience with this disease.

And then, when I did my first trauma fellowship, I was on Dr. Scalia's team and

Dr. Scalia's team was the nasty team. In addition to all the trauma we also had the

fashion I ever could have imagined in all its various varieties and these patients were

sick as dirt and I gained a real appreciation for the devastating effects both from

the perspective of loss of pieces of your body that had to be removed

in order to operatively treat this, as well as the incredible degree of heun dynamic instability

many of these patients presented with. of of my career and so I want to talk about that today necrotizing
