podcast the first of a two-part series on issues with Iodinated

contrast.

Wow, not a really tantalizing topic there, Weingart, what's going on?

But these questions have come up a bunch and each time I'm like, well do we do and so on part one today we're

going to be discussing the issues with kidney injury from contrast now I think we've completely debunked the idea that in

patients with normal renal function you really have to worry about this too much but the

question comes up what about the patient with tenuous renal function? Can you

ignore IV contrast administration in them or is it still an

issue? And so I've gotten one of my favorite people to speak with, a friend of the

show, Joel Topph, aka Kidney Boy, to come on and discuss that.
