optimal team performance with Dan Dworkis.

Dan is the founder of the Emergency Mind Project, and part of that project is the Emergency

Mind Podcast, which is where I first came across him, and I'm listening to his stuff,

and I'm saying, wow, we are on real parallel tracks here.

I think the things on his podcast are just brilliant.

He picked up his book, The Emergency Mind, Wiring Your Brain for Performance Under Pressure,

and this is the book I hand out to interns and say, this is the Emergency Medicine Mind

said, master this.

He's also the Chief Medical Officer at the Mission Critical Team Institute.

He's a board-certified emergency physician and an assistant professor of EM at the

Keck School of Medicine at USC.

He did his EM residency at the Harvard Medical School, and in addition to his MD, he holds

a PhD in Molecular Medicine from the Boston University School of Medicine.

Dan's work is an incredible example of finding your niche and then going full in on it.
