you and I've been friends a long time ever since I got here. And it has always been, you know,

such a great source of solace to so many of us here to have you sort of be in our lives as a priest

Well, tonight is a real bittersweet moment for me, just to start bittersweet because

bitter in the sense that I love so many aspects of my ministry and my life.

I thrived in so many ways.

In other words, I was happy at many times during these, gosh, 25 years since I left for the seminary. I left Akron, Ohio. I broke up with my girlfriend. I left university. I surprised my parents, freaked them out, and surprised everybody who knew me. me and I said I want to give up everything
